How is a UX design agency different from a general digital agency?

Do you work with early-stage startups or only established companies?

Both, but the engagement looks different. For pre-product startups, we typically run a four-week discovery and prototyping sprint to validate the core concept before any UI work begins. For established products, we're more likely to start with a UX audit and a structured improvement roadmap. Check our UX consultancy page → if you're not sure which fits you best.

What does a typical project timeline look like?
Discovery sprints run two to four weeks. Full product design engagements are usually eight to sixteen weeks depending on scope. We work in structured sprints with defined deliverables at each stage, so you always know what's being built and when to expect it. We're not fans of open-ended retainers without milestones — in our experience, they drift. See our process above →
Can we hire you as an embedded UX consultant within our team?
Yes. We regularly place senior UX designers and product designers on a fractional basis — typically two to four days per week — within UK product teams. This works well for companies that have engineering capacity but lack in-house design leadership. Contracts usually run three to six months with an option to extend.
